(PERTH SOUTH, ON) - Members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Perth County Paramedic Services attended a single motor vehicle collision shortly after 8:30 p.m. on May 17, 2018 on Perth Road 125 in the Township of Perth South.
While speaking with the driver, police formed the opinion that the he was under the influence of alcohol and he was placed arrested for impaired driving. He was assessed by paramedics and transported to hospital with minor injuries sustained during the collision.
Thirty-six-year old John MCCUTCHEN of Woodstock was charged with the following criminal offences:
Driving while ability impaired-alcohol, and
Driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood.
He was later released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date. The vehicle was towed to impound and the driver's licence has been suspended.
