(PERTH EAST, ON) -The holiday weekend began with a stunt driving charge in Perth County. Shortly before 8:00 a.m. on May 18, 2018, a member of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle in the Township of Perth East.
The vehicle was found to be travelling in excess of fifty kilometres over the posted speed limit in the area of Perth Line 43 when it was stopped.
Thirty-five-year old Bernard WONG of Waterloo was charged with:
Race a motor vehicle-excessive speed
His vehicle was towed to impound and a driver's licence suspension was imposed. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to speak to the charge.
