(LANARK COUNTY, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Carleton Place Detachment is investigating a two vehicle collision involving an OPP cruiser that occurred on Coleman Street at Queen Street in the Town of Carleton Place, Ontario.
The collision occurred on Tuesday May 21, 2018 at 7:10 p.m., involving an OPP officer east bound on Coleman Street in a fully marked OPP cruiser and a north bound pick up truck on Queen Street. The officer and driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries in the collision and were taken to hospital.
Coleman Street was closed for a short time.
The SIU was contacted and did not envoke their mandate.
