(SAUGEEN FIRST NATION, ON) - On Friday, May 18, 2018 members of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Grey-Bruce and Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team and Grey-Bruce Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a property on Indian Agency Road in the Territory of Saugeen First Nation.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized over 30 grams of cannabis marihuana and a lesser amount of cocaine. Police also seized assorted drug paraphernalia. Two people were arrested and charged.
29-year-old female, Ashley NAWASH of Saugeen First Nation is charged with:

27-year-old female, Courtney NAWASH of Saugeen First Nation is charged with:

The accused parties were released on Promise to Appears, and Undertakings before officer in charge, to attend Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton on June 27, 2018.
