(LEEDS, ON.) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is continuing an investigation where signs and mailboxes were damaged overnight. Calls from the public lead to a man being arrested.
On June 1, 2018 at about 3:30 AM Rideau Lakes OPP received multiple calls advising of numerous mail boxes, shelters and road signs being damaged by occupants of a pickup truck on Upper Rideau Drive and 15 Highway.
The vehicle was located by officers on 15 Highway, just north of 42 Highway. Four male youths were located in the truck and another four were in the box.
After an investigation 20 year old Fraser Thomas BEDFORD of Smiths Falls was arrested for Driving with more than 80 mgs of Alcohol in his Blood. He has an appearance set at the Ontario Court of Justice - Provincial Division, Brockville on June 22, 2018 to answer to his charge.
Investigations into numerous acts of Mischief are still under investigation.
