(BRANT TWP, ON) - On May 27, 2018 at 12:55 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a request to assist paramedics with a call in the 1100 block of Concession 12 in Brant Township. Officers attended with Bruce County Paramedics and members of the Walkerton Fire Department to find a large party in progress.
Officers laid charges under the Liquor Licence Act of Ontario while at the scene:
18 year old Shelburne teen charged with public intoxication and obstruct peace officer.
18 year old Melancthon Township teen was charged with open alcohol.
20 year old Huron-Kinloss Township woman was charged with open alcohol.
Members of the South Bruce OPP and the South Bruce OPP Criminal Investigation Unit are continuing to investigate 4 incidents that were reported to police at the scene:
2 reports of sexual assault
A report of an assault with a weapon
A report of an assault
