(STORMONT, DUNDAS & GLENGARRY, ON) - The SD&G Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating several incidents after responding to 344 calls for service from Wednesday May 30, 2018 to Monday June 4, 2018.
FAMILY DISPUTE RESULTS IN CHARGES
(SOUTH DUNDAS,ON) - On May 30, 2018 at approximately 4:51pm Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of family dispute in South Dundas Township. Investigation revealed that a female youth had assaulted a family member on multiple occasions and damaged property within the home.
A 15-year-old female of South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
- Assault
- Mischief Under $5000 ( 2 counts)
- Assault with a weapon
She was held in custody (bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall court on May 31, 2018.
The name of the accused is being withheld in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
DOMESTIC- MISCHIEF
(NORTH STORMONT,ON) - On May 30, 2018 at approximately 5:46pm Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of domestic situation in North Stormont Township. Investigation revealed that an adult male had caused damage to the victim's property.
A 40-year-old male of North Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
- Mischief
- Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall court on June 26, 2018.
DOMESTIC- MISCHIEF
(NORTH DUNDAS,ON) - On May 30, 2018 at approximately 10:06pm Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of domestic situation in North Dundas Township. Investigation revealed that an adult female had caused damage to property within the home.
A 55-year-old female of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
- Mischief
She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall court on June 26, 2018.
STOLEN ATV
(SOUTH DUNDAS,ON) - On May 31, 2018 at approximately 8:51am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of an ATV from a Business on Flagg Road, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that between 2:00am-2:30am May 30, 2018 a 2017 White Canam Outlander ATV was removed from the property.
An investigation continues.
BREAK IN
(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON) - On May 31, 2018 at approximately 4:53pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a residence on McCormick Road, North Glengarry Township.
Investigation indicated that sometime May 31, 2018 culprit(s) entered a residence and removed jewelry (multiple men's watches) and Canadian currency.
An investigation continues.
IMPAIRED DRIVER
(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON) - On June 1, 2018 at approximately 5:21pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a traffic complaint on Kenyon Street West in North Glengarry Township. The investigation revealed that the adult female driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Kimberley ALTEEN (48) of Lachine, Quebec was arrested and is charged with;
- Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
- Drive a Motor Vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on July 4, 2018.
IMPAIRED DRIVER
(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON) - On June 2, 2018 at approximately 2:22pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers conducted a traffic stop on County Road 34 in North Glengarry Township. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Jacques DELORME (54) of South Glengarry was arrested and is charged with;
- Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
- Drive a Motor Vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on July 4, 2018.
CHARGES LAID RELATING TO BREAK IN
(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON) - On June 2, 2018 at approximately 11:01pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a business on Kenyon Street West in Alexandria, Ontario.
Investigation indicated that on June 2, 2018 culprit(s) entered a business and removed a guitar.
Shortly thereafter SD&G OPP located and arrested an adult male and adult female in connection with the break-in.
Evan BRIDSON (35) of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
- Break and enter
Amanda ROSS (37) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
- Break and enter
Both were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on July 4, 2018.
