(PETROLIA, ON) - On June 2, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. a concerned motorist contacted the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in order to report erratic driving behaviour in the area of Petrolia Line, Petrolia, Ontario.
The OPP managed to identify the vehicle of concern, a 2014 Ford Escape within the Town of Petrolia. The OPP stopped the vehicle and through additional investigation identified the driver and were able to determine that she was impaired by an alcoholic beverage.
As a result, Jolene Louise MCGILL, 34 years-of-age of Elgin, Ontario was arrested and charged for impaired operation of a motor vehicle, have over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of her blood and failing to ensure a person under 16 years-of-age wears a seatbelt. She provided a breath sample exceeding twice the legal limit. She is to appear at the Sarnia Court House on June 18, 2018.
