(PERTH EAST, ON) - A theft of batteries from a property in the Township of Perth East remains under investigation by the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The theft occurred on Perth Line 56 at approximately 10:30 a.m. on March 31, 2018.
Two of the three suspects can be seen on video surveillance arriving at the property in a white pick up truck. The thieves entered the property and proceeded to remove 6 batteries from the front of a shop building located at the address.
Two of the stolen batteries are specialty models, typically used on a motorized scooter. They are described as M and K powered 8GU144RC batteries.
Still photos of the suspects have been released, and members of the public are asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122 if any are recognized.
