(ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) - On June 1, 2018, at approximately 12:25 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to assist a motorist on River Road, Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation.
Officers located the vehicle and spoke to the driver. The officer determined that the 22-year-old, male, driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to a police station for further testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Daniel ANTHONY, of Thames Centre, Ontario has been charged with Care or Control While Impaired and Care or Control Over 80 mgs. of Alcohol, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC).
The accused is scheduled to appear in a London court room on July 9, 2018 to answer to the charges.
