(QUINTE WEST) - On Wednesday June 6, 2018 at 8:30 PM officers of the Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle driving erratically on West Street in Trenton.
Officers located the vehicle and driver at a residence in Trenton shortly after the report was received. Subsequent investigation determined that the driver's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
David BONTER, 48, of Trenton has been charged with:
Driving a motor vehicle while ability impaired by alcohol, Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood, Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
The male was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville on June 21.
IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED
(QUINTE WEST) - On Thursday June 7, 2018 at 8:40 PM officers of the Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle driving erratically on Highway 37. The vehicle was reported to be all over the roadway and had travelled into oncoming traffic numerous times before beginning to travel westbound on the 401.
The vehicle was located by officers in Carrying Place. Subsequent investigation determined that the driver's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
Alison WALL, 52, of Carrying Place has been charged with:
Driving a motor vehicle while ability impaired by alcohol, Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood, Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
The female was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville on June 21.
