(GREY HIGHLANDS TWP, ON) - On June 8, 2018 at 9:18 p.m., the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a missing person. Twenty-four-year old Douglas ARDIS of Grey Highlands was last seen on June 6, 2018 at 1:59 p.m. at the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) in Dundalk.
On June 14, 2018 at 8:43 p.m., Dufferin County OPP located the Silver Ford F150, the covered trailer and recovered the body of a deceased person.
The identity is being withheld pending positive identification and next of kin notification.
The investigation is continuing with assistance from the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Services (OCC-FPS), the Dufferin County OPP Crime unit and the Grey County OPP Crime unit.
