(CENTRAL HURON, ON)- On Wednesday, June 13, 2018, members from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Huron County OPP, West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and West Region Canine executed a search warrant at a residence located on Hullett-McKillop Road in the Municipality of Central Huron, Huron County, Ontario.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant police have arrested and charged six people. Police are also seeking an arrest warrant for one additional male suspect.
Police seized illegal drugs consisting of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cannabis marihuana and psilocybin (magic mushrooms) that have a combined, estimated street value of $12,490.
Police also seized offence related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia & cash. In addition, police recovered prohibited weapons and stolen property that consisted of a pickup truck, an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), a generator and a Mig welder.
Tabitha SCHELL, 27 years of age & John WAIN, 43 years of age, both from Central Huron have been charged with:
Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking (Marihuana)
Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
Possession of Cannabis Marihuana
Possession of Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms)
Two Counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Two Counts of Altering, Destroying, Obliterating Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on a Motor Vehicle.
Steven SLOTEGRAAF, 41 years of age from Goderich & Jamie SMITH, 26 years of age from Huron East have been charged with:
Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking (Marihuana)
Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
Possession of Cannabis Marihuana
Possession of Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms)
Kristy Lee HILLIER, 31 years of age from Kitchener & Peter KEENAN-DYCK, 35 years of age from London have been charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purposes of Trafficking
Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
Possession of a Prohibited Weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order
All accused have since been released from custody with court appearances scheduled for July 23, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
