Sometime over night on July 10th, unknown person(s) entered a garage in Chatham by cutting through the screen. The unknown person(s) stole a mountain bike valued at $600. The investigation is ongoing.

Sometime through the morning of July 10th, unknown person(s) forced their way through the back door of the residence causing approximately $500 in damage. Taken from the residence were 3 guitars valued at $1800.
Cash, and other personal items had also been taken. The investigation is ongoing.

Male and Female Arrested in Chatham. CK18032049/CK18032051
Last night at approximate 10:15pm, Police conducted a traffic stop on a male and female on bicycles in Chatham. The male cyclist attempted to flee from Police and a brief foot chase occurred. The male party was found to be breaching multiple conditions he was currently bound by. Police also located drugs and break and enter tools in his possession.
The 26yr Chatham male has since been charged with several breach’s and possession of a controlled substance and Possession of break and enter tools. The male was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Head Quarters location to await a bail hearing.
The 21yr Chatham female was also charged with 2 counts of breach of probation and 1 count of possession of a controlled substance. The 21yr female was later released with a future court date.
