Break and Enter in Chatham. CK18032153
Sometime between July 9th, and July 11th, unknown person(s) entered a residence in Chatham by forcing the rear door open causing approximately $500 in damages. The unknown person stole multiple personal items and electronics from the home. The investigation is ongoing.

Male Arrested for Failing to Attend Court. CK18032130
On December 2nd, 2017, a 20yr Bothwell male was arrested for the possession of a controlled substance. The male was later released with a future court date. The male party failed to attend court on the date issued which resulted in a warrant being issued for his arrest.
Yesterday afternoon the 20yr Bothwell man attended the Chatham-Kent Police Service Head Quarters location and turned himself over to Police. The male party was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Wallaceburg Male Arrested. CK18032231
On January 29th, 2018, a 20yr Wallaceburg male was released on Bail with conditions to reside at a specific address in Wallaceburg.
Last night at approximately 11:00pm, Police attended this address to speak with a 20yr Wallaceburg Male. Police then learned the male no longer resides at this address and has not lived there for some time.
A short time later Police located the male and placed him under arrest for Failing to Comply with his conditions. The male was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Head Quarters location were he was held for a bail hearing.
Bob Izumi, along with Canadian Tire will be hosting an annual Cops, Kids Fishing Event in Mitchell’s Bay this Saturday, July 11.
Registration and start up time is 8 a.m. at the Mitchell’s Bay Marine Park.
Cost is $3 per child which includes lunch being a pop, chips, hot dog and unlimited bait.
There is no cut off time for registration but the event stops at 1 p.m.
Prizes and awards will be handed out at the end of the event.
