(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) - The Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to investigate break and enters that occurred between July 15 -16, 2018.
On July 15 around 4:00 a.m. police responded to a break-in at an automobile repair shop on Iona Road South of Iona Station Ontario. A bay door was smashed in and several tools where taken.
On July 15 around 4:30 a.m. police responded to a break-in at a residence on Ron McNeil Line in Central Elgin Ontario, west of Wellington Road. Unknown persons entered a workshop and stole numerous tools. The break-in was thought to have occurred between 1:15 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.
On July 16 around 6:00 a.m. police attended an address on Annie Street in Dutton Ontario for a break-in after the fact. The break-in is thought to have occurred sometime over the weekend. Numerous electronics were stolen from the residence.
Elgin County OPP Scenes of Crime Officers (SOCO) attended all break-in scenes and collected evidentiary information.
