(POWASSAN, ON) - On July 22, 2018, shortly after 3:00 a.m., members of the North Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), stopped a vehicle on Highway 11, near Powassan, Ontario. Further investigation revealed that the driver had been drinking.
The 34-year-old male driver, Andrew BRADLEY of London, Ontario, was arrested and charged for:
Drive while ability impaired, contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (C.C.), and
Drive with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the C.C.,
The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for seven days. The accused was released by way of Promise to Appear (PTA). He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on August 28, 2018, in North Bay, Ontario.
