(ST. MARYS, ON) - A break, enter and theft occurrence in the Town of St. Marys is currently under investigation by members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment.
During the early morning hours of July 30, 2018, an unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked garage at a residential address in the area of Water Street. A quantity of tools and other items were removed at that time.
All property owners are reminded to ensure that doors and windows are closed and locked. Thieves will seek easy opportunities; insecure properties in both urban and rural areas are targets at any hour of the day.
Leave exterior lighting on whenever possible, and advise trusted neighbours and friends if your property will be unattended for an extended period of time.
