(MONO, ON) - Officers from the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with assistance of Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit members are investigating the discovery of a vehicle fire that resulted in the death of a male.
The vehicle was discovered on August 2, 2018 in an area near the 25th Sideroad and Hurontario Street in the Town of Mono.
Members of the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit and the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management are assisting in this investigation under the direction of Detective Inspector Scott MOORE of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
