(CORUNNA, ON)- On August 11, 2018 at 2:20 a.m. members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on general patrol and located at the intersection of Lyndoch and Hill Streets, Corunna, Ontario when they observed a motor vehicle allegedly fail to stop for a red light.
Upon stopping the motor vehicle the OPP members determined that the driver was impaired by an alcoholic beverage. As a result of the investigation the driver was arrested and shortly thereafter provided a breath sample of more than twice the legal limit.
Zachary John BROWN, 26-years-of-age has been allegedly charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of alcohol in his blood. He is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice- Sarnia; on August 20, 2018 in order to address the allegations.
