(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - On August 8, 2018, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to reports of thefts from construction sites on Glendon Drive, Middlesex Centre.
The investigation revealed that the culprit(s) gained entry to sites and used tools to breach large shipping containers commonly used as storage. Once inside, thieves targeted tools and construction equipment.
"Thieves often target construction sites due to the concentration of valuable equipment and tools. We ask the public to immediately report any suspicious activity, vehicles or persons to police" - says Constable Max Gomez, Middlesex County OPP.
The OPP Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) continues to investigate.
