(PERTH EAST, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment responded to the theft of a motor vehicle in the Township of Perth East on August 15, 2018.
Shortly after 1:00 p.m., an older model black Dodge Ram pick-up truck was left running outside of the Shakespeare Pizza restaurant in the village of Shakespeare. The owner went inside briefly to obtain a food order, and when an unknown male suspect entered his truck and left the area.
The truck was last observed heading eastbound on Perth Line 34.
Stolen vehicles are often driven aggressively. If you observe this vehicle, do not approach, and call 9-1-1 immediately.
This theft is another reminder of the importance of removing keys and locking vehicles, every time. It only takes a moment for a theft to occur.
