(BRANT TWP, ON) - On August 15, 2018 at 10:05 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a male lying next to a bicycle on the shoulder of Bruce County Road 4 in Brant Township. Officers arrived to find that the cyclist was riding west bound when he was struck by the side view mirror of a west bound vehicle near Maple Hill Road.
The cyclist was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The involved vehicle will have damage to the side view mirror on the passenger side.
