(PERTH SOUTH, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment, Perth County Paramedic Services and St. Marys Fire Department attended the scene of a motor vehicle collision on August 25, 2018 which sent one person to hospital, and resulted in criminal charges against another.
The single motor vehicle collision involving an off road vehicle (ORV) occurred shortly before 12:00 a.m. on Perth Road 130 in the Township of Perth South. One occupant was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two other occupants were uninjured in the collision.
Nineteen-year-old Cameron TAYLOR of the Town of St. Marys was arrested and charged with the following offences:
Operation while impaired causing bodily harm-alcohol;
Driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood;
Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle cause bodily harm, and
Obstruct peace officer
He was later released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to speak to the charges.
