(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) - On Monday August 26, 2018 at approximately 9:30 a.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a suspicious vehicle that was parked at a business located on Wellington Road 124 near Wellington Road 32 in Guelph-Eramosa Township
Officers located the male driver and vehicle and as a result of an investigation a baggy containing a white, crystal-like substance, believed to be methamphetamine, was seized. The driver was placed under arrest and was transported to a local police station for further processing.
31-year-old Wade BRODIE of West Grey Township has been charged with Possession of Schedule 1 Substance - Methamphetamine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).
He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 2, 2018 to answer to the charge.
