(WEST PERTH, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment responded to a report of a vehicle entry during the overnight hours of August 29, 2018.
The unlocked motor vehicle had been parked in the area of Perth Line 34 in the Municipality of West Perth. The incident was discovered by the owner and reported to police. The vehicle contents had been ransacked, and personal property was removed.
Perth County OPP members are reminding home and property owners to lock and secure all property, especially during overnight hours. Store equipment in a locked container or building. Use exterior lighting on whenever possible.
