(CHATHAM, ON) On September 2, 2018, around 5:15 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Queen Street in the City of Chatham.
While speaking with the driver, the officer determined the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was transported to detachment for further tests.
Upon further investigation, the male driver, David MCQUIGGAN, 65-years-old of Chatham, Ontario, has been charged with drive motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood, and driving while ability impaired, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on September 28, 2018 to answer to the charges.
