(BANCROFT, ON) - In the early morning on August 29, 2018 officers of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were called to a family dispute on Hastings Street South in the Town of Bancroft.
Officers met the complainant at the Bancroft detachment and advised they would follow her to the residence. As the officers were following they observed a poor driving ability and stopped the complainant to check on her wellbeing.
As officers spoke and questioned her about the driving, they determined that she had been consuming alcohol, failed the roadside test and was subsequently placed under arrest.
As a result of the investigation, Yvonne HEATH, 66 years of Bancroft Ontario has been charged with Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in Blood.
The vehicle was impounded for 7 days and she also received a driver's licence suspension for 90 days.
The accused was released on a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on September 25, 2018.
