(PERTH EAST, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment are investigating a theft of fuel which occurred during the early morning hours on September 18, 2018.
The suspect(s) entered the business address on Perth Road 136 in the Township of Perth East, causing damage to a fuel tank on the property. Approximately $1000.00 worth of fuel, a pump and nozzle were removed before departing the area.
Perth County OPP members are reminding all business and residential fuel tank owners to ensure that fuel tanks are locked and turned off nightly to prevent thefts.
The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to report it immediately to police at 1-888-310-1122.
