(BLUEWATER, ON) - A 21-year-old from South Huron remains in custody on a number of criminal charges stemming from a series of poor choices he made on September 12, 2018.
At approximately 6:27 p.m. on the 12th of September, Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information that a Chevrolet pickup truck had been stolen from a Goshen Line residence and a Yamaha golf cart was left behind.
Upon further police investigation police determined the thief broke into a residence located on Zurich-Hensall Road and stole the golf cart from the detached garage. From there he proceeded to abandon the golf cart and he stole the pickup truck from the Goshen Line residence.
With the assistance of the public, officers were able to positively identify the male suspect. He was subsequently located and arrested in Zurich on September 13, 2018.
Branden NEEB, 21 years of age from South Huron has been charged with the following offences:
Break and Enter Commit Indictable Offence
Theft Over $5,000 - Motor Vehicle
Driving While Disqualified
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Driving While Under Suspension
The accused remains in custody with a video court appearance scheduled for September 21, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
