(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON) - On Sunday September 24, 2018 at approximately 7:25 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a two motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Brock Road South and Wellington Road 34 in Puslinch Township involving a white pick-up truck and a white sedan. Further information was received that the pick-up was travelling southbound on Brock Road and was observed swerving all over the roadway just prior to the collision.
Officers responded to the location and while speaking with the male driver of the pick-up truck they formed the opinion that his ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
47-year-old Michael BOUDREAU has been charged with Impaired Driving and Driving with Over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute.
He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 16, 2018 to answer to the charges.
