(TOWN OF PERTH, ON) - Following a two month fraud investigation, officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a man who operates businesses in the Town of Perth and Town of Smiths Falls.
On Friday June 8, 2018 OPP received a walk in complaint at the Lanark County Detachment which resulted in the investigation by Uniform officers and Detectives from the Crime Unit.
Mark LEE (57 years) of the Town of Smiths Falls is charged:
One (1) Count Fraud over $5,000
Two (2) Counts Use Forged Document
One (1) Count Personation with Intent to Gain Advantage
Contrary to the Criminal Code.
He was released to appear at the Provincial Court in the Town of Perth.
