(EXETER, ON) -An Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer from Lambton County has been issued an offence notice under the Provincial Offences Act after a collision in Exeter on September 29, 2018.
The officer was operating a fully marked OPP vehicle travelling northbound on Main Street in Exeter and attempted to perform a U-turn when he was struck by a pickup truck travelling in the same direction.
The driver of the pickup truck received minor injuries and no other vehicles were involved in the collision.
As a result, Provincial Constable Scott MOSEY, a one year member, of the Huron County OPP Detachment has been charged with Turn Not in Safety under the Highway Traffic Act.
