(CENTRAL HURON, ON) - Members from the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment continue to investigate a mischief and theft of a Stihl saw taken from a parked vehicle in Clinton last week.
Sometime between 6:00 p.m. on October 11, 2018 and 6:30 a.m. on October 12, 2018 unknown suspect(s) attended to a Wellington Street business and located a company work truck. Upon observing the Stihl saw inside the locked truck those responsible proceeded to smash out a passenger side window whereupon they accessed the vehicle and stole the saw.
The Stihl Quick Cut 14" model PS500 saw is valued at approximately $1,600.
