(MIDLAND, ON) - On Oct 24, 2018 members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) assisted by the detachment Community Street Crime Unit responding to numerous complaints from the public entered into a investigation under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA) in Tay Township.
Officers participating in the investigation did investigate a suspect vehicle and its occupants in the Town of Midland while investigating the complaints and seized a quantity of a substance believed to be cocaine. As a result, Willard Edward (Teddy) MARION 47 years of Tay Township was arrested and charged with the following criminal offence-
Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine contrary to section 5 (2) of the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.
He was released on a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on December 13, 2018.
