(BROCKTON, ON) - Just before 8:30 p.m. on November 1, 2018 a member of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a vehicle driving erratically on Sideroad 30 North in Brockton.
A traffic stop was conducted and while speaking with the driver the officer determined the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was transported to detachment for further tests.
Upon further investigation, the male driver, Kyle Schlorff, a 28-year-old from Brockton, Ontario, has been charged with drive motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice - Walkerton, on November 21, 2018 to answer to the charges. His driver's licence was suspended for an automatic 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
