(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) - On Saturday November 17, 2018 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the male driver of a grey motor vehicle that entered into a R.I.D.E. spot check on Elora Street at Union Street in Harriston. While speaking with the driver, officers detected the odour of marihuana and subsequently seized an open jar of dried marihuana that was in plain view and within reach of the driver.
29-year-old Nicholas GOREL of South Bruce was served a provincial offence notice for Drive Motor Vehicle with Cannabis Readily Available contrary to the Cannabis Act 2017.
