(THAMES CENTRE, ON) - On December 4, 2018 at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Middlesex and Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 2 (Dundas Street), west of Hunt Road.
The investigation has revealed that a westbound transport truck collided with an eastbound passenger vehicle.
The male driver and lone occupant of the passenger vehicle was pronounced deceased at scene. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
The male driver and lone occupant of the commercial motor vehicle was not injured.
Dundas Street is currently closed from Cobble Hills Road to 15th Line.
West Region OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) are deployed to the scene and assisting in the investigation.
