(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - On December 26, 2018 at 8:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and Southwold Fire Department responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Southminister Bourne in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that a single motor vehicle left the roadway and struck a bridge barrier.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene and a passenger was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Southminister Bourne remains closed between Westdel Bourne and Woodhull Road while members of the OPP West Region Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) Team investigate. Please use an alternate route to avoid delays.
