(HOWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron County detachment, Huron County Paramedic Services and Howick-Turnberry Fire Department attended the scene of a collision involving a motor vehicle and a horse/buggy. One person was air lifted to hospital with life threatening injuries. Two others were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The collision occurred on Howick-Turnberry Road between Gorrie Road and Belmore Line.
The investigation continues with the support of the OPP Traffic Technical Collision Investigators (TTCI).
Motorists are asked to respect the road closures while emergency crews remain on scene. The road way is expected to be closed until the investigation is complete.
