(BROCKTON, ON) - Just after 5:00 p.m. on March 4, 2019 members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a motor vehicle collision on Bruce Road 10 in the Municipality of Brockton.
When officers arrived on scene they observed the driver showing signs of impairment and determined the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to detachment for further tests.
The male driver, Nathan TERPSTRA, a 42-year-old from Southgate Township, Ontario, has been charged with impaired driving, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice - Walkerton, on March 27, 2019 to answer to the charges. His driver's licence was suspended for an automatic 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
