(HOWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) - On March 8, 2019 at approximately 6:30p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron County detachment, Huron County Paramedic Services and Howick-Turnberry Fire Department attended the scene of a collision involving a motor vehicle and a horse-drawn buggy on Howick-Turnberry Road, between Gorrie Road and Belmore Line.
The driver of the horse and buggy, aged 46, was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two passengers, aged 14 and 2, were also transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation continues with the support of the OPP Traffic Technical Collision Investigators (TTCI).
Police are asking any witnesses who may have approached the scene from a westerly direction, particularly after the collision, to contact Police.
