(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - On March 14, 2019, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Staff Sergeant MaryLouise Kearns of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), arrested and charged two people in relation to the ongoing investigation into the death of Ashley Gravelle, 35-years-old, of Norfolk County.
Morgan Daniel FICK, 21-years-old, of Norfolk County, Ontario has been charged with the following offences:
Manslaughter, contrary to Section 236(b) of the Criminal Code;
Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Fentanyl);
Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine); and,
Trafficking (Cocaine and Fentanyl), contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Carilyn Michelle DEMING, 23-years-old, of Norfolk County, Ontario has been charged with the following offences:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine); and,
Trafficking (Cocaine), contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Both are being held in custody and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe, on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 1:30 p.m.
