(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), along with OPP Elgin Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) members stopped a motor vehicle on Woodhull Road, near Westminster Road on March 17, 2019, at approximately 12:30 p.m.
As a result of the investigation, Lukasz CHELCHOWSKI (male), 38-years-old, of Middlesex Centre, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Fentanyl
Possession of a Schedule I substance - Methamphetamine
Resist Peace Officer
Fail to comply with recognizance
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing on March 18, 2019, at the Ontario Court of Justice-London.
Anyone coming across purple fentanyl is reminded of the extreme dangers that this creates for users. Often users will not know the presence of purple fentanyl even exists as it is mixed into other street drugs.
