(NORTH PERTH, ON) - Members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), North Perth detachment were contacted regarding an assault that occurred just before midnight on April 11, 2019 in the Municipality of North Perth.
Through their investigation, Perth County OPP determined that a victim had been assaulted with a conducted energy weapon and held against their will.
A male and female had fled North Perth after letting the victim go, but were arrested after a foot pursuit west of Clinton with the assistance of Huron County OPP.
The male, Nathan Chambers, 21-years-old, of the Municipality of Bluewater was arrested and charged with;
Assault with A Weapon
Uttering Threats to Cause death or Bodily Harm
Forcible Confinement
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Methamphetamine
Possession of Prohibited device for a Dangerous Purpose
Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
Flight from peace officer
Operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited
2 counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
3 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance
The female, Tracy DOLMAGE, 38-years-old, of the Municipality of North Perth was arrested and charged with;
Assault with A Weapon
Forcible Confinement
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Methamphetamine
Possession of Prohibited device for a Dangerous Purpose
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Both the male and female were held for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on April 12, 2019.
