(THAMES CENTRE, ON) - On April 16, 2019, at approximately 2:30 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspicious person on Huntington Crescent, in the Municipality of Thames Centre.
Upon police arrival, a subject was observed fleeing the area. A short time later, police located an individual attempting to gain entry into a vehicle on Chittick Crescent. The investigation further revealed that the individual was operating a stolen vehicle.
Police have arrested and charged, Cody CASSIN, 26 years-old, of London, Ontario with the following offences, pursuant to the Criminal Code (CC);
Possession of property obtained by crime - under $5000, two counts
Possession of break-in instruments
Trespassing at night
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in London, Ontario on May 27, 2019.
