(HAGERSVILLE, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Haldimand County OPP Detachment and Waterloo Regional Police Digital Forensics Unit have arrested and charged a Hagersville man following a four month internet investigation.
On May 08, 2019, police executed a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Hagersville where numerous computer devices were seized.
As a result of this investigation, police arrested and charged Robert WILLIS, 40-years-old, with one count of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Make Available Child Pornography.
The accused next scheduled court appearance will be at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga, Ontario on May 09, 2019.
The investigation is continuing.
The Ontario Provincial Police will continue to aggressively identify and pursue individuals' intent on the sexual exploitation children.
