(SHAKESPEARE, ON) - On May 15, 2019 at approximately 9:00 a.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Sebringville detachment on focused patrol for impaired and distracted drivers observed a male urinating beside a limousine in a parking lot in Shakespeare.
While speaking with the driver, officers formed the opinion that his ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired. The male was arrested and transported to the Sebringville OPP detachment for further testing.
Shane BAKER, 54-years-old, of the Grimsby was arrested and charged with;
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
His driver's licence was seized and a 90 Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (ADLS) was imposed. The vehicle was towed and impounded.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on June 10, 2019 to answer the charges.
