(HURON EAST, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 67-year-old from West Perth with Impaired Operation following a crash that took place last night in Huron East.
At approximately 10:47 p.m. on May 16th, 2019 Huron County OPP, Huron County Paramedic Services and Huron East Fire Department members responded to a crash located on Mill Road east of London Road.
The subsequent investigation revealed the accused was travelling eastbound on Mill Road in a car when he drove onto the gravel shoulder and collided with a parked pickup truck.
The lone male driver was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. While at the hospital, the investigating officer noted the driver had consumed some alcohol.
