(NORTH PERTH, ON) - On May 17, 2019 at approximately 3:00 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Perth County detachment were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Line 72 in the Hamlet of Donegal.
A Ford pickup entered the RIDE program. While officers were speaking with the driver, it was determined that the driver had consumed alcohol. He failed a road side test and was arrested and transported to the Listowel OPP detachment for further testing.
David GRAY, 49-years-old, of the Township of Mapleton was arrested and charged with;
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
His driver's licence was seized and a 90 Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (ADLS) was imposed. The vehicle was towed and impounded.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on June 3, 2019 to answer the charges.
